Rehabilitation, mental health, and employment, were once areasseparated by great differences. However, within contemporary humanservices they are increasingly being integrated as American societyhas accelerated its expectations of work and workers, there is aproliferation of services to facilitate the employment of those whoare disabled as well as those who have been displaced from theworkplace.
